Our disc jockey fee is based on everything we need to provide you with a fantastic DJ experience.
This includes:
- 6 hours of continuous music (no breaks).
- All announcements, made in a classy and tasteful way.
- Coordination of activities to ensure your reception runs super smooth.
- Fun dance floor lighting!
- A HUGE variety of music.
- Professional sound system properly equipped for up to around 300-350 guests. (if you are inviting more than 350 guests, please contact us to discuss your sound system requirements).
- Wireless microphone
- Access to our “Click & Mix” online playlist planner.
Pricing on DJ service is based on individual date availability, number of hours you would like service, and equipment requirements. You can get an instant online price quote by filling out our form located on the “Pricing” page, however we can tell you that generally pricing ranges from $495 - $1,295. If you’re looking for promo codes, or specials, join our facebook page or subscribe to our email list. Special deals get sent only directly to our friends! :)
Add/Subtract time: If you don’t need the full 6 hours, or if you're planning a longer event, you can add or subtract time.
Big Screen Video! If you’re really looking for something awesome at your reception, add this option to get unlimited visual excitement added to the mix. We play content provided by you (like a photo slideshow), ambient videos, music videos, or anything else you can think of that can be displayed visually. We’ve even had a client bring an XBOX to their wedding and guests played guitar hero on it (see our blog post about this!). IMPORTANT NOTE::: If you add this option, then Sara G. will be your DJ. Currently, she is our only DJ on staff who has all the equipment for this totally rad upgrade. Please contact Platinum Mix before booking to make sure your date is open.
Remote Sound System: Select this option if you will need music or a microphone in any other area besides near the main dance floor. This option works great for wedding ceremonies!

Photo Montage/Slideshow Package: We take care of everything involved in presenting your video presentation. Provide us with the content (photos, video or text), and our staff video editors will put together your show. Once approved by you, we will setup a video screen, projector and run the audio cables to our DJ system at your event. This is the recommended way to go to avoid complications and to guarantee your presentation gets shown. If you want to provide some of this yourself (for example if you want to make your own slideshow or maybe the venue has a built-in screen), then you can choose ala-carte items from our price quote system (example, just add projector and audio hook-up).
